OSAAVA Vets United exists to ensure that every service member has a clear path forward after military life.
OUR STORY
Each year, thousands of brave men and women transition from active duty to civilian life. They bring with them exceptional skills in leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving — yet too often, they struggle to translate those abilities into the language of the civilian workforce. This challenge inspired our founders, Veteran Sam Arwood and his wife, Colonel Amy Arwood, to take action.
Together, they created OSAAVA Vets United — a nonprofit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between military experience and civilian opportunity. We do this by helping Veterans clearly articulate their value, connecting them with trusted employers, and guiding them toward careers that match their passion and purpose.
Every program, partnership, and outreach effort we build is designed with one goal in mind: to serve those who have served us. Whether it’s resume development, career mentorship, or direct employer engagement, OSAAVA Vets United stands beside Veterans every step of the way — ensuring that no one transitions alone.
